E' possibile unire moda ed etica..? Forse sì! Il mondo del fashion si fa sempre più sostenibile ed ecofriendly e così, capita che pelle e plastica lascino il posto ad un materiale povero, puro ed incontaminato come il legno. Abiti, borse ed accessori.
Mai come ora è boom di gioielli a tema wood, non più in stile Afro ma veri e propri elementi di design, ed è proprio il gioiello, oggetto borderline a metà tra moda e arte a stimolare la creatività di startupper e designer, che per farsi conoscere incontrano da sempre difficoltà e diffidenza.
Il mio blog, una vetrina per giovani talenti, non poteva non ospitare  JewelsMesh, un'idea nata nel 2012 da Antonello Garaguso giovane eclettico e talentuoso designer di Matera.
Le sue collane, realizzate con legno e tessuto sono completamente fatte a mano con un particolare processo che le rende uniche. Poche parole per descriverlo e sicuramente, non sarei in grado!
Mi è bastato un solo sguardo per rimanerne colpita. Forme vistose come piacciono a me, l'accessorio ideale per rendere unici ed inimitabili i nostri outfit, dai più casual e semplici ai più particolari ed estrosi.
Preso da mille progetti, questa, non è l'attività principale di Antonello, a cui però continua ad essere molto legato perchè interamente pensata e realizzata da lui, dalla grafica, alla produzione fino alla comunicazione. Un' autoproduzione insomma, a cui mi sembrava giusto dare il risalto che merita:i giovani creativi vanno sempre sostenuti!!

PASSION FOR WOOD

La moda diventa sempre più sostenibile ed attenta all'ambiente e così, nell'estate 2013, il legno diventa il materiale più fashion, chic e di tendenza!

Una particolare lavorazione laser rende più flessibili le fibre del legno  che diventano così più facilmente lavorabili.
Tutto il materiale è certificato e garantisce che siano rispettati severi standard ambientali. E non allarmatevi,nessun rischio di deforestazione...Pensate, che con un solo albero si possono produrre fino a 300 borse o 150 paia di scarpe.

E così, sempre più stilisti si sono fatti contagiare dalla passione per il legno con il quale realizzano calzature ed accessori.
Prodotti raffinati ed originali, ognuno diverso dall'altro grazie alle diverse  sfumature del materiale..
