Olympia  Le Tan è  una stilista anglo-francese diventata famosa grazie alle sue book-clutch.

Figlia del famoso  illustratore Pierre Le Tan, ha iniziato la  sua carriera da Chanel lavorando accanto a Karl Lagerfeld e poi per Balmain si è subito dimostrata eccentrica e talentuosa.

Ispirata dai suoi libri preferiti ha deciso di reinventarli realizzando  dal 2009 una collezione di borse, ognuna delle quali riproduce esattamente l'esterno della copertina di un libro. 

Interamente cucite a mano su borse rigide, hanno subito colpito molte celebrities che ne fanno sfoggio sui red carpet.

Appassionata di letteratura e cinema italiano ha presentato a Pitti a Firenze una capsule collection dal titolo       " You can't judge a book by its cover" che riproduce copertine di opere famose  come "La Mandragola" , il "Decamerone", " Il fu Mattia Pascal"..
