FASHION CONNECTION LOUNGE

Tutti quanti sapete quanto ci tengo a far conoscere nuovi talenti; sono tantissime le difficoltà che incontrano ad emergere e mi sembra sempre un'ottima occasione poterne parlare sul blog.

Domenica 22 dicembre si è svolta a Roma la prima serata del Fashion Connection Lounge, un evento realizzato da Style Book con lo scopo di valorizzare giovani talenti: 9 stilisti e designer di accessori e gioielli hano presentato al pubblico le loro creazioni e, facendosi intervistare da alcuni blogger che li hanno seguiti e conosciuti più da vicino, hanno potuto mostrare quanta fatica ed attenzione ci sia dietro ogni loro lavoro.

Voglio presentarvi più da vicino gli artisti mostrandovi alcune foto della serata.

Sunday, December 22 took place in Rome on the first evening of the Fashion Connection Lounge, an event created by Style Book with the aim of promoting young talent: 9 stylists and designers of accessories and jewelry Hano presented to the public and their creations, making interviewed by some bloggers who followed them more closely and well known, they have been able to show how much effort and attention is behind all their work.

- OKIANA MIKELI: ha presentato una collezione unica e molto originale che, attraverso particolari lavorazioni e ricami riesce a stilizzare alcuni elementi del corpo umano, dall'apparato respiratorio a circolare.

- NOI2 (Nebojsa Zokic e Oreste Perez Andino): hanno riproposto materiali del passato nelle loro creazioni "destrutturando" un abito ottocentesco e spostando esternamente la crinolina un tempo nascosta internamente per gonfiare le gonne.

- FRANCESCA RICCARDO: architetto con l'amore per i gioielli, che ha presentato le sue creazioni in argento trattato a cera per evitarne l'ossidazione.

- RAFFAELE STOICO: con la sua collezione realizzata con 2 materiali a contrasto: pelle e pizzi.

- VALENTINA SARLI: ha presentato VOLUMI, la sua collezione di cappelli realizzata con tecniche dell'haute couture.

- DANA VERRI: con la sua capsule collection Wilde Muse, realizzata con materiali innovativi e tante piume, perfetta per una donna dalla forte personalità che ama stupire.

La manifestazione proseguirà con altri 3 appuntamenti:

- 5 gennaio ci saranno performance di MUA per scoprire tutte le tendenze e novità del mondo del make-up;

- 19 gennaio sarà presentato un contest per modelle;

- 26 gennaio saranno protagonisti giovani talenti della fotografia con il Fashion Photo Show.

The event will continue with 3 other appointments:

Torniamo a raccontare storie di giovani talenti della moda italiana oggi è il turno di Tomaso Anfossi e Francesco Ferrari designer e fondatori del brand CO|TE.

Vincitori di numerosi premi di importanza internazionale, dal Vogue talent's, a Who's on next, hanno costruito la loro notorietà grazie al duro lavoro e ad elementi che rendono uniche e riconoscibili le loro collezioni: geometrie, trasparenze, giochi di sovrapposizioni e tessuti speciali, creano uno stile contemporaneo e glamour.

Per l'estate 2013 hanno realizzato una capsule collection per Aiguille Noire di Peuteery, li aspetteremo impazienti a settembre per presentare la loro nuova collezione e, sempre a settembre apriranno un negozio nella via della moda di Parigi.

Una carriera tutta in ascesa per questi giovani creativi di cui continueremo a sentir parlare sempre più.

Oggi parliamo della giovane e talentuosa stilista cinese RIKO MANCHIT AU, laureata all'istituto Marangoni di Milano e creatrice dal 2011 del brand RICOSTRU  che deriva dalla parola italiana ricostruzione.
Amante del minimalismo, di uno stile pulito e lineare tipico di un'eleganza senza tempo che non passa mai di moda.

Caterina Gatta è una talentuosa ed originale designer italiana che nonostante la giovane età vanta  numerose collaborazioni ed estimatori del calibro di Franca Sozzani ed Anna Wintour.
Una passione per la moda, il vintage, l'arte, i tessuti che la spinge per 2 anni a girare per mercatini in cerca d'ispirazione.
Nel 2008  crea un suo brand, collezioni di pret e couture che hanno una particolare caratteristica: essere realizzate con pregiate stoffe vintage di stilisti che hanno fatto la storia della moda italiana come Valentino, Lancetti, Versace, Ungaro e tanti altri.
Una minuziosa scelta di tessuti che considera un "TESORO DIMENTICATO" ai quali dona una seconda e nuova vita realizzando abiti con uno stile contemporaneo.
